Meet the Therapist
Dr. Beverly Regisford-Henry is a licensed psychotherapist in Florida and New York who specializes in working with children, teens, young adults, and their families. With over a decade of clinical experience and a background in education, Dr. Regisford-Henry brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, educational insight, and genuine compassion to her work.
She has walked school hallways, partnered closely with parents, and supported families
navigating real-life challenges. Through this work, she understands the quieter struggles of young
people often carry and are deeply committed to helping them feel heard, understood, and
empowered.
Her Approach
Dr. Regisford-Henry’s therapeutic approach is creative, experiential, and relational, grounded in a
psychodramatic framework. Therapy extends beyond conversation and may incorporate
expressive techniques, guided role-play, storytelling, and developmentally appropriate activities.
This approach allows children, teens, and young adults to safely explore emotions, practice new
skills, and build confidence in ways that are both engaging and meaningful. Dr. Regisford-Henry
believes therapy does not have to feel intimidating. When appropriate, it can be interactive,
creative, and even enjoyable.
Collaboration with parents and caregivers is an essential part of the process. Dr. Regisford-Henry
works closely with families to provide guidance, share insights, and support the use of strategies
beyond the therapy room, fostering growth within the entire family system.
Faith can be an important part of healing for many individuals and families. When desired, a faith-
based perspective can be thoughtfully integrated into the therapeutic process. This is always
guided by the client’s preferences, values, and comfort level.
